Cognitive Harness is a mental health service that has a "G42" address which means the service resides in the Glasgow Constituency the former First Minister of Scotland is the Member of the Scottish Parliament for.

Whether we like to admit it or not but at present there are only two options for the continued provision of healthcare in Scotland. One is the delivery of healthcare by the public sector which is the current setup which is under great threat due to increased demand on services as well as the Scottish parliament being granted a Scottish budget from a right wing Westminster Government that believes in the selling off of the public sector to the private sector. As has just been mentioned the second option for the delivering of healthcare is through the private sector.

It is predicted that Type 2 Diabetes, Dementia and the mental health of the nation are going to be the killers of our NHS which means in order to prevent future privatisation the nation will rely on a third option which is an option that Cognitive Harness would be a part of. It would be an option that is client funded through donations as well as the selling of other products such as A Fitful Life.

Cognitive Harness hopes to forge relationships with the NHS where people on mental health waiting lists could be referred to the public courses while they remain on the waiting list where many may find that what they are taught will put an end to the need to remain on the waiting list rsulting in much quicker symptom management as well as savings for the NHS. Cognitive Harness is therefore hoping to meet with MSP's and personnel in the NHS to discuss the providing of such services to those on NHS waiting lists.
